Very nice 1947 Ford 5 window coupe. This is an early 1947 model which was born with the 46 parking light valance. I’ve been told that a handful of these came through like this in the 1947 production year. All original drive train with low miles since restoration. Speedometer is new as is the cables for the e-brake and speedo. Detailed engine bay with dual exhaust and Long Smitty mufflers. The car looks amazing in its deep Burgandy paint. The chrome has been re-plated and the stainless is nice. The car runs and goes down the road great and rides on wide white wall tires. Brakes are new as well as a brand new transmission (Have receipt for work on tranny). Gas gauge works, as well as the speedometer, wipers and radio. The original radio has been converted to digital FM and works nice. The original 6 volt system has been upgraded to 12volt along with new battery Original owners manual and shop manuals included with this car. Trunk is carpeted with the original spare and jack. Interior has been replaced with a beautiful two tone cloth. Original hubcaps and trim rings complete the look of this classic. All glass is nice. Over all a very nice solid car that would be a pleasure to own and drive. I cannot find any rust on this car, very clean and solid underneath. Possible trade for a 1930 / 31 chopped Model "A" 5 window hotrod OL SKOOL or a chopped 1950's Custom lead sled, no projects please. Clear title in hand. There is no pitting at I have seen on the chrome, the picture of the rear bumper and bumperettes show water drops on the chrome from being washed .On Sep-27-13 at 10:19:31 PDT, seller added the following information: A few questions came in regarding the paint condition..... Paint on a scale of 1 - 10, I would call it a 7.5 - 8, (10 being perfect show quality). There are a few touch ups from use and storage, and the valance pan that tucks under the front bumper should be refinished to be show quality. I am including extra paint with the car to take care of this or any other work to bring the car to the next level.
