1973 Ford Mustang convertible !!! If you are looking for that perfect old driver car that you don't have to park and let sit forever while you work on it than this one is for you. This Mustang is one of approximately 11,000+ mustang convertibles built in 1973 and actually in descent shape compare to many of those left. Obviously this car has had a repaint that is aprox. 20 years old but has had many other updates since that time . It is actually a descent looking car in pictures but it is in need of paint and body repair as it does have its share of nicks , scratches bumps etc. over the 20+ year time period. It has had many new updates in the past several years , with new Pro formance Powertrain Products long block installed in 2007 does have mild performance cam. Since that time has had headers ,new radiator, new exhaust, new seat upholstery, new carpet, new door panels , new power top, new fuel tank, rear bumper, tires, (Hard to find) special ordered new factory ram air setup ( Over $800.00) and small misc. items. After market factory look stereo with Sony speakers mounted in trunk area as shown in pictures with trunk mat , tire tool bag , jack bag and matching top boot with bag and spare tire cover. Of course all paint and body work on this car is 20 years old , Quarters and fenders were apparently replaced at that time and trunk area looks amazing as I did take everything out to take as many pictures as I could. Very straight car over all and I have drove this car personally aprox. 150 miles at highway speeds and it drives out great. Also have current receipt as it was just in shop to get front end checked out and had 1 ball joint replaced and front end alignment just recently. This car is equipped with a 302 c.i. V8 as originally and with no AC. does have power steering and brakes and all work great. According to sticker on door this is the original color on car as it came out. It was one of the more rare colors of the 70's being Glow Green and it did come with the white interior, as far as the stripes I think they were added but it still makes for a great looking car and really gets a lot of attention wherever you go. Most everything has been repainted at one time but lower door jambs on rocker panel look to be original paint. This would be a great driver car for someone who wants an old muscle car but don't want to Spend $20,000+ to get into one. Best of all you can get in this car and drive it when you want, or work on it when you want. Starts right up , drives out great , and stops like it should with no issues, but it is a 40 year old car so it does this like a 40 year old car. You can drive this one and not have to worry about it losing the value as it will only appreciate through the years. As we have stated these older cars are getting harder to find and especially in this condition and we do not get them in regularly. They are all sold as-is just due to age but that would be typical with anything like that. Give us a call and set up a time to come down and check this one out.
