PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULY AND COMPLETELY! This RAV4 runs great; but needs transmission replaced or rebuilt... This a great running vehicle. It is very good on gas, and has plenty of pep. It's very clean, and has been well taken care of. It was running and driving perfectly when I had it out one day. I stopped at the store, did my shopping and returned to my car. Everything was fine for about a half mile; Then all of a sudden, it felt like I was dragging a boat anchor. Thankfully, I was only about a third of a mile from my long-time mechanic's shop. I "Limped" it in to his place, dropped it off, and called my wife to come and pick me up. As soon as he was able to get to it; he found out that ultimately; It needs a transmission, or a rebuild. This was an extra vehicle since my wife got her new one; and I was already thinking about selling it. If I needed a vehicle, I would fix it and keep it. It is definitely worth fixing. It's really clean with pretty low miles for the year. The pictures speak for themselves as far as how clean it is. The two small rust spots are inside the rear door, and not visible when the door is closed. If you've always wanted one, or need a nice AWD vehicle that's great on gas; here's you chance to get one for a very reasonable price. For the sake of "Full Disclosure", it has a "check engine" light on. When it came on, I popped in to Auto Zone...they put a scanner on it and said it needs a o2 sensor; But it runs great, so.... If you've got a really good buddy who is a good mechanic, and will work for beer...this is right up your alley! LOL Of course, this will need to be trailered. Be advised: It will not leave my possession, or have the title transferred; until it has been paid for, in full, in cash or all funds have cleared my bank.
