As far as I can tell, there is no rust. This car has had only 3 owners. The first two from the LA area. I have had it for 10 years and NEVER took it out in rain or snow. I have garaged it every night. It is really a beautiful car. Very collectible, sunroof, perfect bumpers, solid. New tires, rare Cosmic wheels (popular in its day). Comes with original steering wheel; but, I installed a Nardi. You will want to Google that part alone. Very nice interior with the exception of two rips in the driver's seat bottom. 4-Speed manual trans. The rebuilt engine had 10/K miles when I bought it. I have added about 15/K. I drove it strictly for pleasure. The original instrument panel is included which shows 24,574 miles, but I had to install another (which reads 61,331). I have maintenance reports going back 33 years. Also included are the original California plates. It has been well-cared for. It's not the Tii, but it has plenty of pep. A very charming head-turning Bimmer.
