This vehicle was well maintained when it was in use Any known issues are listed below. We are told that the battery will need to be replaced in the near future as it was tested weak. They told us either one or both of the BRAKE LINES needs replaced before driving it any distance. As to the life left with the brakes in general (pads, rotor, etc. ) is unknown but still currently working. They recommend that you TRAILER it back to your location. Also ONE of the fuel pumps is not working currently and will need replaced (this truck has TWO Fuel Tanks and Fuel Pumps) Known Issues as far as RUST: There are several areas as pictured for its age. There are some scratches and dings, SUPERSIZE the pictures to see the entire vehicle condition. Part of the drivers floor board is rusted through, but still has some stability for your feet. The Myers Snow Plow Blade (told 7 ½) is a Metal Blade and was in good working order last winter, but has not been used since then. They have it unhooked and in the back of the truck. Overall, the engine and transmission have shown no issues to them based on what they tell us, they feel for a Snow Plow Truck that once the above items are fixed/replaced that you should have a good work truck. The miles/age for the City Requirement does not allow for any repairs at this point, thus why it is being sold. GENERAL STATEMENT: This unit will have some dings/dents/scratches and normal wear & tear. SUPERSIZE PICTURES TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE BUYING!! A good going over and general maintenance would be recommended before using on a permanent basis. However, this vehicle has been maintained by the City of Ashland while it was used until being retired due to the current issues and miles, based on the City of Ashlands guideline for retiring vehicles. In our opinion, you should have a descent vehicle once a general maintenance and battery, Brake Lines & related are fixed/replaced. As to the condition of typical replacement parts (ie. brakes, tires, etc) how much life is left to them we do not know. White Exterior / Gray Interior Tires are at least 50% Tread Life Automatic Transmission Based on Autocheck website the engine is a 5.8L EFI V8. At the time of taking pictures, the heater/blower was working fine. This has NO A/C. General Statement (we do not check this): vehicles of this age may have oil drip when parked Current miles as of 9-12-2013 was 161420 Original miles at time of pictures, based the odometer reading.
