Here is my 1970 Honda CB 750 that would make a good project bike. I really don't want to sell it. But I have other CB 750's but this is the most original and earliest one I have. But I have way to many big money projects going on, that I needs finished. But I have always loved these 750's. This bike has been in storage for years. And it needs to go to a buyer that will do something with it. Instead of just letting it sit in my garage. I have a clear Indiana title for the bike. MFR'S VIN CB7501020392. Bike was built in 1/70 and it is a original 70 engine. Last owner titled it in 1986. I tried to fire the bike up the other day. It hits everytime on either sprayed in the carbs. But the carbs need rebuilt. The number 1 carb is leaking out the float bowl overflow. They are original 1970 independent style carbs. It has a original wrinkle tank. Inside has light rust but nothing big or flaking. Tank is not beat up. It has the original 69/70 side covers. Cover are not cracked or broken, and both have the emblems. It has the original mirrors, not broken or busted. It has the original small tail light in the back. Original plastic chain guard. Original recessed key switch is missing, and they have toggle switch in there. The original duck bill seat is missing. It had a aftermarket seat on it, when I got it, but I pitched it. You can by a aftermarket duck bill seat new for about $275. which is what I would do if fixing the bike up. Headlights and tail lights work. The switch for the turn signals is broken and is loose on the control. It has a new style air box. The original fiberglass air box is missing. It has the early style gauges and unicorn top clamp. The left side bottom exhaust pipe has a hole in the bottom as you can see in the pics. The right side exhaust pipes don't have no holes. They are all original pipes. Baffles are missing. The electric starter motor is not working. I will included another used starter off of a 73 parts bike I have. The front master cylinder needs rebuilt, because it is not pumping up pressure. You can see a chip out of the air fin on the left side front in the pics. It has the black on/off kill switch which was a early one. A lot of the bolts are stamped with a 8 which is early. I seen it is slowly dripping oil around the sprocket seal, on to the garage floor. Chrome is all presentable, but not perfect. Bike tire needs changed, it dry cracked out, and tube will not hold air. This is a rare bike, and well worth restoring. 70 is the next best thing to a 69. There are only a few 69's left a very few sandcasts left, so this is the next best thing. Engine has lots of compression. The rear side shocks feel like they are blowed out and needs rebuilt. Odometer reads 28,000 some miles. This would be a good restoration project, that would be worth doing. This is sold as is, all sales are final. I want a small $250 deposit within 48hrs of the end of the auction. And I want the rest in cash, money order, cashier checks, your personal check within 10 days of the end of the auction.
