Due to the fact, only 2300 were manufactured in 1985 making it quite rare and one of the neo-classic staple investment cars. The rarity of this Cadillac auction is exaggerated as this car goes into a class of it's own as a Hess & Eisenhardt conversion, more information follows. Gorgeous well kept this vintage 1985 Cadillac Eldorado with 68,468 thousand original miles was garaged and pampered in the State of Florida. This Luxury Classic with stunning finish, very desirable original V8 engine with 4 barrel carburetor and automatic transmission is in perfect condition. This survivor was nurtured and very well maintained with many items professionally replaced during ownership. This Eldorado Convertible features cold factory Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats all working perfectly aside from some attention needed for AC recharge. All dash gauges and speedometer work. Please note: The smudge on the hood of driver's side is not discoloration or damage, it is polish wax that was not removed. The interior upholstery shows rail marks where the frame for top rested when top was down. The color of the car before re-paint was the same color. Also, this Eldorado may not be factory converted and may be very rare as a product of Hess & Eisenhardt Eldorado converts, one of approximately 100 worked on in 1985. The label at the edge of the driver's side door is not legible to verify see picture at end of auction. An eBay viewer with same year Caddy says he can tell from the interior (exactly like his) that it is a Hess & Eisenhardt conversion.
