This was a two year project that was never finished. The truck has the usual rust out at the bottom of the cab and the doors. The floor has been patched with sheet metal. The original frame was replaced with the frame of a two wheel drive which was modified by cutting out one cross member and bolting in the cross member for the transfer case. Currently the instruments have not been hooked up or the emergency brake cable, or linkage to the transfer case. It was put together hurriedly to get the truck out of a garage bay before winter, and has not been worked on since. A custom power steering unit with a cooler was installed from the original truck. The carb has been rebuilt, new clutch slave and master cylinder. The truck comes with many extra parts including a rear axle, 2nd transfer case, extra carbs, transmission, good windshield, extra door handles, drive shafts, etc. The flat bed is hinged at the back and could be made to tilt with a hydraulic cylinder. The truck has been driven 20 miles round trip, but makes a thunking noise in high gear, and I do not know what the problem is. The truck should be trailered because now the top speed is about 45mph.
