Vehicle Detail
This 69 Mach 1 has seen better days but it is a good restorable car. The original color was champagne gold with matte black hood and black interior,it came with power steering and manual drum brakes on the front. It also came with a fold down back seat and rear spoiler and the spoiler is real nice. All of the fold down stuff is there but like always someone cut speaker holes in the trap door. The door tag reads as follows:Body 63C, color S5, Date 24, DSO 22, Axle 9, Trans X.This car was wrecked in the late 70's or early 80's not that bad but they did a poor job repairing it.All of the front unibody panels need to be replaced, some of the stuff was cut from a donor car and it's sloppy. This car had big block shock towers from the factory and the right side was replaced with a regular one.I have another M code car with big block towers in it and haven't seen many like tham. The parts are not expensive and it's not a hard job. It also had a wiring harness fire and it melted the dash and instrument cluster and clock but these also are easy to replace. The left front floor pan has been partially replaced but the others are original. The quarter panels are in decent shape and the doors are also aside from a few small dings and the usual rust bubbles in the corners. The fenders are decent but need a little work. There is a baseball size hole in the trunk but the floor and turn downs are decent. The hood was N.O.S. when the car was hit so it's good with no rust.Someone redid the seats back in the day, they are in good shape but I would redo them the way they originally came. The engine was gone before I got it but the trans is still in the car.
