1976 Dodge Dart Sport, Slant 6 225, 3 spd. 7.25 rear w/3.23 gears, Manual column shift, MB, MS Driven by 1 owner to 17,000 miles, then parked for ~many yrs. Last 2 owners did NOT drive the car as the car required a full mechanical and chassis restoration. Engine / trans NOT rebuilt.....they are original!!! Mechanical work just completed: (LOOK UNDERNEATH!) Replaced front floors, repaired front frame rails, restored suspension system (new springs, shocks, ball joints.....and so on),welded frame connectors, HD sway bar, new brake lines, new master, new wheel cylinders, new calipers, new fuel tank, new sending unit, new fuel lines, new rotors, new bearings. Fully rustoleum primered red, then painted black, then undercoated. underneath….beautiful. New alignment too. Engine work: new waterpump, rebuilt carb, boiled clean and pressure tested radiator, all new hoses, new single exhaust. Front rims are 15x6 steelies with 205/60-15s Michelins and the rear are 15x7 steelies with 235/60-15s. Yokohamas. Tires have ~90%+ tread left. they ride great. Interior: New carpet, new stereo, prewired for amps and sub woofers amps and subwoofers will be avail at extra cost if you want them), refoamed and recovered front seat. Dynamat under stock headliner and interior carpet area installed. Cleaned / painted heater box assy (no htr core leak). All dash cluster traces cleaned and repaired, new volt limiter, new bulbs. new speedo cable Needs: Stock ampere gauge does not work. A volt meter added to monitor charging. Dome light does not work. Some water dripping at driver side airbox during rains, when the nose of the car is uphill. If I keep the car, I will seal it up. I wanted the new owner to decide on what action to take; so I'm doing nothing for now. needs defroster hoses (have old ones...they are torn) PAINT: car was repainted in BcCc years ago and it is failing. There is some rust behind each wheel that will need attention too. No rust in the wheel arches, rockers or trunk extensions. underneath is super clean. Bumpers painted black...the chrome was poor. Spares included currently NOT installed: new dash top vent grilles, stereo stuff(optional), headlight surrounds and “nose” trim, NICE oem replacement door handles, 4 Dog Dish hubcaps (now on the car, but now shown in picts) The car starts, runs, idles drives like a champ. It handles excellent, due to the restored suspension. I wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere in this car. It just needs a good paint man to finish it up. All the mechanicals are done. NOTE: spare tire shown does NOT go with the car. all spare tools go with the car of course. Inspections welcome. I will not be available Thurs - Sun 7/21.
