I am offering my 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe. (similar to Belair) 4 door. Starts & Drives and is in really good condition with almost all of the original parts. ***$5,700 I accepted this vehicle as payment for another transaction and I understand that I am the 2nd owner... I have the original paperwork from it's purchase in 1951 & according to the paperwork it was last licensed in 1976. I was told that the original owner kept it all these years & started a restoration on it 30 years ago, but he took ill in the middle & it sat in storage for a long time. The paint- Silver & White looks to have been done in the beginning of the restoration & the car was not fully re-assembled after paint, but it must have sat out in the sun for a period as the paint is fading & the clear coat is failing... It looks great from 20' away but could really use a new paint job, no dents or dings or rust... The interior is all new... but not 100% finished. All the chrome was removed and sent out to be re-chromed and most of the parts made it back & are installed on the car... *note in the pictures some of the chrome trim is missing including the belt line & rock guards. The dash trim & interior gauges are there and installed- but none of the wiring is connected. When got the car It had been in storage for many years... I replaced the battery & fuel tank , plugs etc. & rebuilt the carb. It starts and drives.- original engine etc. car is ready for parades & car shows as is... but a bit of interior work & fresh paint and some trim pieces before it would win any awards. if you search N.A.D.A. classic cars this car comes up with a high value of $10,850... average of $6,525... I would say this car is in much better than average condition. and with a bit of work will easily be the the high end of this value.
