First of all, I have to start out by saying this is a very difficult decision to offer this amazing truck for sale, but it is time for me to get a more economic and practical vehicle for city living, but my loss is your gain! I am offering my custom built, 2002 Ford F350 7.3L Powerstroke 4x4 with shift on the fly truck for sale. This is definitely not a stock truck by any means. It is a crew cab truck with an 8 foot bed. It was painted a custom burnt orange metallic in December of 2009, a color that really stands out and demands attention. It has a 5in lift with ladder bars, and 36 inch Dick Cepek Mud Country tires which have plenty of tread left on them, as well as beautiful 18 inch Diamo chrome and black wheels. The truck has chrome running boards as well. The front end has the beginning of a 2005 front end conversion with a 2005 header panel as well as 2005 style headlights. The F350 badges are also 2005 styled and custom painted to match the burnt orange of the body. The windows have 20% tint, and the cab lights have been upgraded with RECON L.E.D smoked cab lights. It has black “bolt-on lock” style fender flares to complete the look. It has straight pipes and dual 5 inch chrome aussie stacks that sound incredible and roll coal when on extreme mode. It is decked out in Texas Longhorn style with a custom chrome longhorn skull grill as well as longhorn oval emblems. The interior is extremely roomy as it is a massive crew cab and boasts custom Katzkin grey leather seats with black suede inserts and heated front drivers and passenger seats. It has a lighted blue flame gauge insert as well as a three gauge pod with IsoPro boost, transmission temperature, and exhaust temperature gauges which all work well. I also have Glow Shift color changing boost, transmission temperature, and exhaust temperature gauges that work great and will come with the truck, I just never found the time to install them. So, yes, this truck looks amazing, but how does it proform? This 350 is powered by the coveted 7.3L International built Powerstroke diesel engine with only 119k miles, it is only just starting to get “broken in.” It has a 6 stage Tony Wildman Chip by Total Diesel Performance, which is one of the best custom chips for a 7.3 with the following settings: Hi-Idle, Stock, Economy, Tow, Sled Pull, and Extreme. The turbo has been upgraded with a Wicked Wheel and the truck has an AFE Stage 1 Cold Air Intake. The transmission was rebuilt with a BD Diesel Performance transmission in 2010. It also has a Viper security system with a remote start and turbo timer – warm up the truck without having to go outside! This truck runs exceptionally well and is the perfect truck for daily driving, shows, as well as pulling your trailer. The body has normal wear of a daily driver including some rusting as well as a few minor dents and scratches which are only noticeable under close inspection, but by no means take away from the overall appearance of this beast.
