Original owner bike. All original 1979 CBX with 16k miles in beautiful condition. 100% turn-key ready to ride. No excuses, no disappointments. Every nut and bolt on this bike is original. The only update is rear 1980 adjustable shocks. Bike was sold at Fremont Cycle Center in September 1979. Rare Euro (GP) kit, which is the lower Euro handlebars and repositioned foot rear sets. All original paint in beautiful condition. No scrapes, scratches or marks. Beautiful all original instrument cluster. Instrument faces and needles paint are like new. All instruments and lights work perfectly. Everything works 100%. Engine is super clean, valves have been checked and adjusted. No engine oil leaks. Fresh motorcycle specific oil and Honda filter. Original carburetors have been completely gone through. The brakes were completely disassembled and cleaned . The bike starts instantly and idles perfectly. The engine is quiet and pulls cleanly through the rev range giving 42 mpg. Fresh air filter installed. Gas tank petcock rubber seals are in perfect condition. Original exhaust in beautiful condition. No rust or dents. Head pipes are still silver chrome, no discoloration. Forks have no leaks. Fork rubber boots and seals are perfect. Bike was stored for 16 years covered 1997 to 2013. Recently registered and has a clean California title. New front & rear Dunlop tires. New "O" ring chain with front and rear sprockets in near new condition. New Gel Battery. On Jul-25-13 at 21:57:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked a question about the front fender. There is a very small rock chip in the front fender and a very small chip in the upper left of the tank. When the bike was two weeks old there was a runaway bungee cord that put that very small ding in the tank that you see. The paint is all original 34 year old paint that I would rate at a 9 ½ on a scale of 10. Thanks for looking!
