And now onto the car: This 944 Turbo is exceptional for many reasons; has relatively low miles for one of these cars, comes with over $27,000.00 worth of maintenance receipts, has mostly original paint with ALL original panels wearing the vin number of the car as documented in the pictures, comes with the books, tools, factory spare and jack and even the rarely seen Porsche pump and carrying case. Interior in very nice shape, even the trunk carpet is not faded. Runs as well as she did when new, and idles smoother than any others I have seen. She runs very strong, with cold air sitting on a nice set of tires in excellent shape. All options work including the cruise control, sunroof, power door locks, power driver’s seat and power rear hatch release. Recent work includes timing belt service (ie timing belt, A/C belt and power steering belts o rings seals etc), new clutch, new clutch hydraulics ie., new (not rebuilt) clutch master, new (not rebuilt clutch slave cylinder, new Porsche OEM clutch hose, new Oxygen sensor, new Porsche OEM Shift rod, and new front wheel bearings. As a result of on going high level regular maintenance and this recent work, She runs, drives and stops exceptionally well, also just passed the stringent California SMOG test. Getting further into it that means: Starts and idles beautifully cold or hot, No smoking at startup even if sat for a week or, Also no smoking under idle when hot or even under hard acceleration All four wheel bearings smooth and quiet Transmission/Transaxle smooth and quite in all gears No play in Drive shaft when taking up drive Excellent Brakes Emergency brake works excellent Suspension in excellent condition No vibration in Steering Exhaust system in excellent shape no leaks A/C works great Complete with factory spare/jack/tools and factory air compressor, owner’s manual and pouch And last but not least, she is a west coast car and the pictures speak for themselves.
