Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is an extremely nice 1969 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible. Vehicle is light blue in color with white vinyl interior. It was restored to a very nice driver condition several years ago. New Paint, interior, top, gauges and bumpers. I am selling the vehicle for one of my dear clients. I have maintained, serviced or advised on most of his cars for the past 15+ years. He enjoys an eclectic group of cars and is ready for the next adventure. We have receipts for all recent work for the past few years. He bought new gauges, had the wheels painted, new chrome bumpers, valve adjustment and some tuning. Vehicle is running dual carbs, but we have the original Solex and intake if you prefer to go back to stock. We cannot honestly say if it is the original engine. All appears to be in order; the receipts and prior history suggest that it is, but we cannot say with certainty. Mileage is probably not actual and -or correct. Gauges have been updated and replaced. The vehicle shows and drives well. The pictures really speak for themselves. We have tried to document the car from every angle. We have also pointed out any blems and rock chips from use and driving. Any imperfections are more than acceptable for its age and overall condition. It does have a few immediate needs and we have decided to sell as is. It will need some electrical sorting for gauge lighting and turn signals. The car is 95%, but to get to that 100%, we feel a those two items will need to be addressed. I am sure I am missing something, but we are glad to answer any questions. Does not seem to be leaking a ton of oil and has pretty good power. I sold his 1965 Mustang on eBay last summer and the new owner was blown away by the condition and our honest description. The Mustang buyer said it was nicer than described. Hopefully, I am doing the same with the Ghia. Feel free to contact me, Rob at 214-417-1416 or email back to the listing. Our buy-it now is very fair and competitive for the condition and we are open to reasonable offers. Car is seriously for sale, but not interested in giving it away. It is also listed locally and we reserve the right to end this listing and sell elsewhere. Title is free and clear of course, in our possession. I can help arrange shipping at the buyers expense. Payment will be buy cash, wire or cashiers check from a major bank. A $500 deposit will be required through Paypal. Thank you.
