Vehicle Detail

1955 Buick Special 2-Dr Hardtop Highlights: 99 Camaro Aluminum LS1 and T-56 6-speed transmission.Scott’s Hot Rods Super Slam IFS, with rack n pinion steering and disc brakes.Jaguar IRSCustom firewall, floors, pedals, steering column.Car is shaved with bear claw latches, nosed and decked. Much of the fabrication work including the IFS install was done at Scott’s Hot Rods by the previous owner. The previous owner claims $60,000 invested in the car. Sounds high, but I know he spent well over $20k at Scott’s plus buying the car, engine, trans and others work. The car is a big project, but has huge potential. I’ve purchased the following and installed some of it: AirLift air-ride compressor, tank, valves and digital controlDenny’s Driveshaft custom driveshaftNew Camaro LS RadiatorNew Camaro Fan AssemblyPSI Standalone Engine Wiring HarnessEdelbrock HeadersSPI Fuel Injection Gas TankDynamat KitNew front and rear glass weather-stripping.Brand new side glass kit. I also purchased a parts car (stripped and gone) and have many interior and exterior parts, seat cores, trim etc. I have many duplicates as well. Two sets of front bumpers, two grilles, two windshields, even two of the hard to find hardtop rear windows (which I’ve seen sell for over $1,000) Other than the obvious work, interior, paint etc. The main things it needs to run and drive are… all brake lines need to be run, clutch slave line, main electrical, install gas tank & fabricate fuel fill pipe. On Jul-19-13 at 08:52:23 PDT, seller added the following information: 7/19/2013 - Some additional items: I actually have three sets of taillights. Two sets of '55 and a set of '56's which I think look better. I also have universal street rod power window kits. I also saved the doors from the parts car. They are rotted, but you'll know you have all of the internal pieces (and how they come apart and go together) On Jul-19-13 at 15:46:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Also... I have a correct reman ECM/ECU for the car... needs to be flashed still. On Jul-20-13 at 07:27:44 PDT, seller added the following information: More parts: Keyless Entry Kit Power Trunk Kit (2) Flowmaster mufflers
