Except for the first few years of its life is has been garage kept. The car was used as a street racer and then stored. We purchased it in 1997 with the idea of making it a bracket car then it was decided to make it nice enough to be a cruise night car. Raising a family prevented much effort to go into the car and we want this car to go to a home where it will be completed and enjoyed. This car has all of its original sheet metal and it is in very good condition. There is slight surface rust on the body. The trunk floor and extensions, the passenger compartment floor, the quarter panels are all original and do not need replacement. It started life as a 383 automatic. When we bought it the engine was a 1974 440 in sore need of an overhaul. It was bored .030 over, the mains were align bored, block was deburred and the crank, rods and pistons were balanced.
