This 1 ton chevy truck is a easy restoration. New metal was welded in where it was needed. It also comes with a extra 235 motor that turns over freely. On site inspections are welcome and encouraged. Just let me know so we can set up the time. The truck turned alot of heads when I took it out. It needs to be finished which I wanted to do but am unable to do at this time. It has rust on the post for the tailgate which is an easy fix. I converted it to a 12 volt system and had the starter rebuilt. It needs a resistor for the gas guage to work and the drive gear for the speedometer is worn. All parts are available to restore this truck to it's original condition. I have the inner hubs for the bed of the truck as well. I ran this truck for three years down the road and had a blast. It shifts fine and does a whopping 40 miles per hour. I used as many original parts as possible when I worked on it. I have a extra clutch plate and throwout bearing that goes with the truck. Remember this is a 1946 chevy truck and it is not a show stopper but it is a blast to run around with. I will not seperate the 235 from the truck! There are no other trucks in NY that are registered for this make, year, and model. It is a survivor. Winning bidder pays all transportation fees and such. You can also pick it up yourself if you choose. I will accept cash or a postal money order only. Money order has to clear before truck is moved anywhere, no exceptions.
