1986 Chevy Diesel Military Contact Truck (M-1031). These truck are heavy duty rated as a 1 ton truck, Dana 60 front axle and 14 bolt rear with a 6.2 gm diesel. The body is in good shape there is a little rust in a few spots but not to bad. This truck has a really nice and expensive aluminum tool bed, complete with built in service lights, air compressor, and a 12KW PTO driven generator. The aluminum box attached to this truck has multiple shelving systems, and is in really great shape. There is a power control panel with several convenience power outlets with different voltages and amps. It has an automatic throttle control that will automatically adjust for the type of load you are drawing. It is hard to imagine with out seeing this truck in person but it far different from the civilian version. It has dual alternators and two huge 12 volt military batteries. The truck starts right up and runs great with a very durable naturally aspirated 6.2 liter Chevy Diesel Engine. This truck will withstand solar storms as well as a EMP attack and also comes with blackout light kit and other cool military features. The military used this as a field service vehicle. It has only 21,000 miles on it and the generator only has 99 hours!! The tires are 95% with a stock spare. This is a perfect work truck or a survivalist most important tool.
