1966 chevy 1/2 ton truck with a 250 straight 6, with a three on the tree. I have owned the truck for 4 years. It was a South Dakota truck until 4 years ago. It was a barn find and had a blown motor that had not seen daylight since 1985. The motor in it now came out of a Nova and i'm not sure of the milage. The motor does use a little oiil, but runs strong and is quiet. The tires are good. The heater does not work and never has since I bought it, although everything is there. All electrical works other then the gas gage. The speedometer cable broke last year and I never replaced it. The speedometer shows 89,700 so ad another 1,000 for the last year I would guess. I have used the truck for hauling brush, pulling a small trailer, or a trip to the lumber yard. It is a great old truck that definitely attracts attention. Has no rear bumper and the spare is currently on the truck. I recently purchase another 1966, and this one I have had my fun with so it's the new ones turn.
