Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1951 Dodge B3 Stepside Pick-up Truck. The truck has a Chevy 350 motor with a TH400 Transmission swap and a Camaro rear end! The motor & drivetrain are solid as a rock! This truck goes like hell! Brand new dual exhaust system done professionally when motor/trans swap was done. Truck sounds like a hot rod, but isn't obnoxiously loud. The underneath has been completely wire brushes and POR-15 to seal and protect from the elements. The bed was completely redone with a Mar-K Mahogany wood bed kit sealed with Helmsley All Weather Stain, held together with a Mar-K polished stainless fastener kit. The interior has been kept to look stock with the exception of a 32" Lokar double bend shifter that will be installed this week. Also, an electric heater/defrost blower motor has been installed behind the dash and works perfectly to heat the cab! I installed a temperature gauge as well so engine temp can be monitored. I also installed a master shut off switch under the hood for added security. Without the master key(which you probably wouldn’t even notice if I didn’t point it out) the truck will not start. New ALL stainless “STOP” tail lights have been installed. The headlights all work, and the high/low beam floor switch functions perfectly. The roof lights need to be hooked up which is simple, the pig tails are right there and ready to be wired. I installed 3” white walls front and rear with fresh gloss black steelies. The truck is lowered 4” in the rear to level it out(this can be put back in a matter of an hour is you'd prefer the truck at stock height, I just flipped the shackles in the rear). I have plans to slam the truck if it doesn’t sell. I will include a spare white wall, and chrome moons in the deal. I also have the running boards that can go back on. They have been patched with diamond plate. I am currently running an 11 gallon quick release fuel tank in the bed of the truck as seen in the pictures. It is out of an old boat. This is a hot rod and is not perfect. If you are looking for a show truck this isn’t the one for you. However, if you are looking for a daily driver, that goes like hell, that you can take anywhere this is the one for you! This truck does draw a lot of attention because there are not a lot of Dodges out there! I drove this truck 250 miles to Laconia Bike week two weeks ago with no problems what so ever! The nuts and bolts are all there! The “big” stuff has all been done with this truck(motor/tranny swap). Hot rodding is a never ending project, it just depends on how far you want to go with each car/truck! I have done so much stuff to the truck, I’m sure there is stuff I am leaving out. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions! The truck is currently registered and insured. Who ever wins the truck will NOT be disappointed, this is a great truck! Happy bidding! I have the right to end the auction at any time as the truck is for sale locally.
