Up for auction, here is my 2006 Mustang GT: 28,200 miles, 460RWHP, NO RESERVE! Though I'm already kicking myself for even considering selling it, the time has come for downsizing and so I am forced to let this one go. I have had a lot of fun with this car but now I realize it is time for someone else to enjoy it too. It’s a pleasure to drive on trips or even around town, and it can certainly be a daily driver as it gets great mileage plus it is a total sleeper because no-one expects what it can deliver! Do however be advised that this car is not for the faint-of-heart or under-skilled driver, because it really GOES! This 06 GT Premium Deluxe was ordered pretty much the way you see it: Leather Interior, Interior Upgrade Package, Manual trans, 18” polished wheels, ‘My Color’, Shaker 1000 and the exterior Screaming Yellow clearcoat was only available in ‘05 and ‘06 so there are a very limited number of these in this condition with low miles at this point. With only 28,200 miles this car literally still has the tires it came home on! Other than mods only the battery has changed, the rest is factory original. Mature owned (50+), heated garaged and pampered its whole life so far, it only gets ‘waxed’ with Liquid Glass as you see. Oil changes are done with Castrol Edge and it only gets washed by hand, never by a machine. Never raced, wrecked or otherwise abused. I have the carfax and of course it is stellar like the car you see in the pictures. It does have the Ford Racing Performance Parts (Whipple) blower, but the tune did not come from Ford; a bit too mild for my liking. The Dyno work was done by Lidio Iaccobelli at ‘Alternative Auto Performance’ in Chesterfield MI. He is billed as the ‘most experienced and trusted tuner in the industry’ and has been in business since 1990 having upgraded many, many cars; check out their website. So, this one makes about 530HP at the crank while putting a solid 460RWHP on the ground on pump gas! It now uses 93 Octane Sunoco or BP fuel ONLY. If this blower kit is purchased direct from Ford your original tune is lost as Ford just upgrades the PCM and that’s it, no going back. Lidio has this car’s original tune stored in the SCT Power Flash that goes with the car of course. This unit will allow you to alter the current tune, change to one of many (online) available tunes, make additional mods that would require a new tune, or even return to stock if that were your desire. The few other mods that I’ve done include an Eleanor style grille, Steeda Tri-ax short throw shifter (with the required white cue-ball shift handle), sequential tail lights and an aluminum rear window louvre. Every mod is reversible if desired, I kept all the parts that were removed and they will of course go with the car so any item can be put back to original if you like. If someone is a collector, I even have the window sticker, sales papers and the Virginia temporary tag that the car came home on as well as the brochure and other associated paperwork that came with the car when new. Since my cars do not go back to a dealer after they come home, I have the Ford Factory repair manuals, complete with wiring diagrams and all sorts of other in-depth info for repairing the car; they go with it too of course. This car is one owner, not abused or wrecked, has some mods done and the system is open ended so more mods can easily be done if you like. Low miles, mature owned, heated garaged and very well kept every day of its life. There are no ‘surprises’ in the box except the horsepower and the truly impressive fuel economy whenever you’re not in boost. It is ready to travel without any worries; I would drive it on a four-corner tour of the continent without batting an eye any day. If you are out of town you could fly in to DTW and drive it home. Check my feedback, I only sell top notch items and the purchasers of the other vehicles I have sold on EBay all were absolutely happy with their purchases and quite surprised at the condition I keep my vehicles in. Again, there are no surprises to worry about on this car. With no reserve the market will set the price and the highest bidder will be so happy when they get home it will take a plastic surgeon to get the smile off their face!
