Vehicle Detail
1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible 350 Project !!! It's a convertible waiting to be restored to the perfect car of your dreams!! I have a very good Camaro Convertible for sale on ebay. The car is a great candidate for a restoration. This car is the one you don't see very often for sale or on the road. It is very important that the winning bidder has the full intentions of restoring this car to its full potential! I will be happy to answer all questions about the vehicles specifics during the auction. I have had several nice cars over the years and am very familiar with collector cars and classics. The car is a factory car in original condition. The car is painted its factory silver color with black factory interior. The engine and transmission are the original powertrain stated by the previous owner who had the car for almost 25 years. The car has the factory power steering and power convertible top. The body of the car has had full quarters replaced in the past. The shell or tub of the car is in great condition for the year. Looking at the car I would expect to replace the floor boards in each corner. The truck has developed a few small pin holes from moisture. The inner and outer wheel wells look good but I would have them replaced during a restoration. The rear of the car can be pulled out via information from the local body shop. The deck lid is another easy replacement part. The door shells are complete and in good condition. One door might need a skin. The doghouse has had the front fenders replaced. The front end is in great condition including the hood, valance and header panel. All the doors and hood of the car open and close nice! The outside rocker panels are in great condition. I would not expect to have to replace them. The lights still work on the vehicle inside and out. The chrome is showing its age but the parts are all available. The stainless trim is in great condition around the windshield and back area around the convertible top. In the picture there is one piece of trim missing on the passenger side windshield. The interior is original and complete including the seat belts. Since the top is no longer useable the interior has seen better days. The basics are there but it will need replaced. The convertible frame is in great condition. It is a power top and moves up and down manually. No pressure in the lines at this time. The top motor does work with the top switch. The front suspension is original and untouched. The car has manual drum brakes all the way around. The sub frame has not been off the car. The engine compartment is original with the factory 350 v-8 and 3 speed manual transmission. It would be an easy 4 speed car with a little work! The engine is currently not running. I have a local Camaro guy looking at the car today to see why it is not getting any spark. No spark at this time but it turns over freely with the key. The 2 bbl carburetor is original with original air cleaner. The fender wells are in great condition with original weather stripping! The original front grille is straight and all the lights and tail lights are in there original condition. The car still has the original wheels with center caps. This car is very much worth the restoration. As you can see I have a restored 69 Camaro in my garage right now. I wished I had more time to do another car. I know I will regret listing this on ebay because someone is going to save this car and restore it! General rules to auction. I can remove listing anytime because several people have expressed a strong interest in the car locally. You must have a positive feedback of at least 10 ebay transactions. No scams or funny business with my paypal accounts or sending a shipper to pick it up if I pay shipping or anything like that. You know who you are! Stay off my ebay bidding if you do not only have the funds to pay for it at the end or cant afford the resto! I will help on my end with shipping and directions but if you ship it you pay for it. My zip code is 46814. I am located in Fort Wayne Indiana. Lets have a $500 deposit by paypal at the end of the auction and the rest paid in full with cash or certified cashiers check with company letter stating the funds are in your account. If you have read all this way I am open to cash offers before the auction ends. Its still an auction Have fun bidding and bid to win! Email or call me if you have any questions about the car. I will make sure all questions are answered correctly! I can take additional photos of the car if your looking for something specific. I think I will be able to answer all you questions. My cell is 260-414-3719 call or text. Email my through ebay. Ebay only gives me 24 photos so I will have to put a link to photobucket or some site. It should be online by Wednesday. Thanks so much for checking out my ebay!
