The Pace Car is an SS convertible fitted with the 2SS and RS upgraded equipment packages. The interior is trimmed in orange leather including the front seat headrests embossed with the Indy 500 logo along with white door panels and instrument panel trim, and orange neon lighting accents in doors. The car is equipped with a 6.2 Liter, 426hp V8 engine(Only the Manual Transmission cars are rated at 426hp) and 6-speed Manual transmission, along with four-wheel disc brakes with Brembo four-piston calipers and hydraulic assist, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, competitive/sport mode that enhances on-track performanceThis car has all of the items that were added for the Festival cars BUT IS NOT ONE OF THE ACTUAL FESTIVAL CARS that were used at the race. Only 4 Festival cars were equipped with a manual transmission and car # 49 was one of them, This is why I branded it #49. The festival specific dash plaque, the white Camaro across the windshield, the flag lot parking sticker placed in the inside center windshield, the 2011 100th anniversary logo stickers on both front fenders and the special Indianapolis Indy 500 license plate designating the car number These were all added to this car. This is one of only 105 manual transmission carsThe 2011 being the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 it was also the 100th anniversary of Chevrolet.
