1969 Ford Mustang Convertible 351W Excellent Restoration Project Overview: This is the perfect HIGH VALUE car for complete restoration. It is a rare combination of engine and color. Car with the 351W have excellent resale value. This is a 1969 Ford Mustang 351W Convertible. Car was in running condition with no major problems prior to second restoration process. Restoration started, but no time to complete. My loss your gain. This car with this engine combo and color should be valued at $35K when restored. One of 310 with this combo. Mileage shows 58K, but I can not verify this. Car does not run, and brakes need to be connected. According to Deluxe Marti Report: Original color was New Lime Paint Ford # 3071-A. Codes on Tag are as follows. History: This was an older restoration at one time the body work was done, floors and outer rails were replaced, and color was changed to Blue. Car sat for a while and then previous owner started to do some work. I bought the car and started to do a restoration on the car. Exterior: Body is in overall very good condition. Minor rust in body areas. But overall solid exterior. Car is complete with most original parts included for restoration. I will include many parts to complete restoration including some body panels. Trunk in very good condition. New Gas Tank. Need New Bumpers or re chrome current. All windows are excellent and door parts included. Suspension and Frame. I stated to restore the mechanicals first. As you can see, I started to rebuild the suspension. Where needed I replaced the front ball joints upper, new brake calipers, new pads, new bearings, new rotors, new brake lines, new master cylinder and front brake lines. New springs, new Gas Shocks. All installed and ready to go. I also have new drag links and many other parts that I have not installed yet but will include. All front and rear rails are very good, no rust. RH front torque box is damaged. I will include new box. Inner frame rails need work. Outer rails were redone. Top frame rails are fine, but for some reason previous owner cut out bottoms. So they will need to be replaced or patched. Rear rails are very good, and rear boxes are as well. Rear is 2.75 with 9 inch. Will include new rear Gas shocks as well. Engine: I started to work on the engine. It includes, new water pump, new fuel pump, new oil pan, all new gaskets, Aluminum 4 V manifold with Holley 650 carb that was ruining when disassembled. Also includes new hoses. New Valve covers and gaskets as well. Duel exhaust in Very Good condition. New Gas Tank, New sending unit and hoses. Radiator is for Large V8 Auto. Engine bay has been cleaned and painted. Hood hinges are cleaned and painted. Battery box cleaned and replaced. Interior: Nothing was done to the interior. It needs seats to be recovered and front and rear side panels. Side panel are worn out, but chrome and wood are very good for new panels. I will include correct steering wheel. As well as ash tray and correct radio and mountings. Rugs were replaced last restoration. New Key and ignition switch. Top: Top is power and works great. Convertible top Vinyl needs to be replaced. Wheels: The wheels are after market, with very good tires. Trans: Trans worked fine when restoration started. Cleaned and New Pan Gasket and filter installed.
