Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1978 Volkswagen Beetle Karmann Convertible. This is a former California car - which I purchased with the intent of restoring. I started the process but have not been able to complete it - so the interior panels, carpet and seats are out. I have owned many Beetles and this one by far is in the best condition of any. The heater channels are intact! There is no Bondo, however the floor pans need replacing in the rear where the battery sat - I have replacement pans that come with it. Prior to beginning to restore it I used it as a daily driver for a short period -starts good and is reliable. I routinely start it and drive it a short distance just to keep it loose. This is a good solid base on which to begin a restoration - but is 30 years old and is not without work needed. If you have questions please ask before bidding.
