1959 Chevy Apache Stepside shortbed V8 Automatic The truck was poorly painted Flat black by the previous owner, the previous color was Carolina Blue as you can tell from the tailgate. His intentions were to turn it into a rat rod but decided it was too nice. This truck runs and drives great. 283 V8 with 2 barrel Rochester that fires up every time. 2 speed Powerglide transmission shifts excellent. Just installed a front disc brake conversion and also front and rear sway bars from LMC. The aftermarket gauges were installed by the previous owner. Aftermarket gauges along with a true dual rear exhaust. Body is in great condition considering how people used these trucks back in the day. The frame is very clean along with the underside of the truck. Based on what I can see it looks like someone did some fiberglass work on the driver side floor some time ago, it is however rock solid.
