Vehicle Detail
2003 JAGUAR X-TYPE SEDAN **PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION** 2.5 liter engine AT / PS / PW / PL / AC Full-time all-wheel drive 179,000 miles Beautiful light blue metallic 2003 Jag, with tan leather interior and lots of options, like: - power driver seat - power passenger seat - heated front seats - tilt-wheel - am/fm stereo with CD player - power sunroof - back up warning sensor - traction control - wood steering wheel and shifter knob The car looks good, inside and out. (See pictures and judge for yourself) The engine starts right up and runs strong. No leaks from engine or transmission. Engine does not burn oil. It has new spark plugs at 160,000 miles, and a new battery this past fall. Full-time all-wheel drive works great. Runs down the road smooth and easy. The carpet is original and has some stains, but nothing terrible. The driver’s seat has a wear mark/scuff on the left side bolster, but there are no tears in the leather seat coverings. The windshield has a 10” linear crack on the passenger side, but it has been partially filled and is not too bad. Clear title, in hand. NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS: The left rear wheel is out-of camber. Our mechanic says this is caused by worn-out springs and shocks in the rear suspension. They will need to be replaced. We have neither the time nor the money to invest, so we are selling the car. Our loss is your gain. Since the wheel is out of alignment, it wears through tires VERY QUICKLY. You will need to fix this problem before you drive it very far. Frankly, you should bring a trailer to avoid getting a flat tire on the way home. The “Check engine” light is on, however the diagnostic codes show only stuff related to the rear suspension and the larger tire size on the back wheels. This was the car we let my daughter use in high school, but she is heading off to college, and she does not want to take the car. She would rather drive our the convertible this Summer. Can’t say I blame her. We require a deposit of $500 via PayPal within forty-eight (48) hours of auction end. The remaining balance is due within ten (10) days. The transaction must be completed prior to release of the little Jaguar. Notice my 100% positive feedback, so please bid with confidence. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. We will be glad to work with the transporter of your choice, or this car can be picked up locally. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS QUESTION: Are you willing to end the auction early? ANSWER: No. QUESTION: Are you willing to help me ship the car to some exotic, overseas location for a ridiculous amount of money? ANSWER: No. QUESTION: What sort of payment is acceptable? ANSWER: Cash, certified check or cashier’s check. Quite frankly, there are a lot of scams these days. I expect you will want to make sure the car is genuine, not stolen, etc. Please expect that I will want to make sure your payment is genuine as well. If you feel this is somehow insulting, please do not bid. QUESTION: Would you consider a trade? ANSWER: No. QUESTION: Would you allow me to make monthly or weekly payments? ANSWER: No. QUESTION: Can I see the car before I bid? ANSWER: Yes, we are in the St. Louis metro area. If you wish to see the car, please leave me a message via ebay. QUESTION: Can I drive the car before I bid? ANSWER: No. I don’t have insurance for that. QUESTION: Does the car have any scratches or dings? ANSWER: Yup. Presume it is not perfect, and bid accordingly.
