The BMW K75S appears ahead of its time, having such nifty features as: - fuel injection - mono-shock rear suspension - single-sided swingarm - aluminum fuel tank - transmission gear indicator - integrated fairing This one features: - rare pearl white paint - only 39,000 miles - saddlebags - Corbin dual seat - fairly new tires - brand new battery - brand new Gustaffson windshield (fairing screen) installed by "The Man" himself (Leif Gustaffson) CONS: - rip in seat (Corbin will recover, with matching piping, for $225, shipping included) - lower fairing dinged - not that visible at standing level - glass patch and paint in an afternoon (or grab that one on eBay that got away for $55) - minor glitches in paint (top fairing, front fender, etc.) that are noticeable but not enough to warrant a re-paint as the tank is flawless. I have been commended for posting explicit photos showing the worst features of the bike. However, if the PO dropped the bike on the left, it was at no speed as the divots on the valve covers are slight and show no speed scraping. And, the left lower engine fairing would be imperceptible with a rattle can of black paint. As it is, the white of the fiberglass shows through and makes it look worse than it really is. In any event, it is minor and the only real flaws on an otherwise pristine bike with factory paint. The tires . . . V-rated Avons with barely any signs of wear? Apparently, the PO installed them right before he traded the bike in as they seem to show only the 1100 miles I have put on the bike. Both factory saddlebags are included in the auction. The left one is a bit hinky on its mount and I would recommend a wire tie to hold it secure. It bounced once, so I put a bungee cord on as a backup and that has worked well.
