For sale is this 1977 Fiat Spider convertible with a near perfect body that has been in the California dessert most of its life but since I have moved it to Tennessee it has been garaged. All the lines are extremely straight the doors close easily and there is no rust anywhere including the trunk and under the car. I see no evidence the car has ever been in a wreck. I had the car stripped down to metal and painted a beautiful pearlized white that really looks fantastic in the sun last year by an award winning paint shop. All the chrome shines and is not rusted or pitted. The engine runs well with a recently rebuilt head and new rings, timing belt and gear and new plugs and oil change. The 5 speed transmission shifts well. The master cylinder and all the calipers and pads were all just replaced and it stops straight. The exhaust is less than 3 years old. Many miscellaneous new parts such as the body emblems, window seal, Fiat shifter knob, heater control panel, front turn signals, CD player, etc. The interior is in very good shape with no cracks in the dash or in the seats and the carpet is in good condition. The heavy duty top is in very good shape with no tears or cracks and everything works properly (the rear window is slightly cloudy). The Wire wheels are in good shape with some light surface rust and the tires have plenty of tread remaining. This car is very fun to drive and is reliable. I only drive it on weekends which is why I am now selling it.
