I bought this car in 2010 from Lexus as a CPO with 59,000 miles. The car is under warranty until 100,000 miles or December of 2013. Unfortunately, the car now has 99,900 miles on it. Knowing that my warranty was about to expire, I brought it to the Dealership in Peabody (Ira Lexus) last week and had my 100k service done and had a full inspection of the car performed (since anything wrong with it is covered under warranty). I can email you the inspection report. From the inspection last week, the car is in overall excellent condition, but a few wear and tear items needed to be done (I did them)- My alignment was off, so that was corrected and two new tires were put on the front. The PCV valve was replaced, as was the transmission fluid (and the 100k service was done). The front rotors were a little thin, so they were replaced. The car is now ready for another 100,000 miles and EVERYTHING on the car is working as it should (as it always has). Since I have owned the car, it has been babied and stored in a heated garage. For the most part, I have kept the car immaculately clean since I use it to drive clients around for my job. Since 2010, the car has needed very little- the air conditioner failed once (and was covered under warranty), one side of the air suspension failed (and was covered under warranty), and one speaker failed (and was covered under warranty). Those are the only problems I have ever had with the car. The car has never been in an accident. The car has never been smoked in and the lighters have never been used. Overall, I have averaged 23 MPG with the very mixed driving that I do. My highest MPG was 26 and the lowest was just 20 (still pretty good for a V8). ALL scheduled maintenance has been done like clock-work including the 60k mile service (done by my local mechanic) and the very expensive 90k mile service (done by Lexus and included a new timing belt). I have all of the paperwork since I have owned the car. All that being said, the car is not new and has almost 100,000 miles on it. There are rock chips on the front face of the car (road rash). There are a couple of scratches here and there. The driver's door has a couple of scratches on it. The wheels all have a few abrasions from a curb. There is a heel spot on the floor mat where my foot rests on it. Nothing is offensive and the car still looks and rides like a million dollars. It tracks perfectly straight and is as quiet as a cocoon. In case you didn't read the link above (you really should), the car has navigation, Bluetooth, Mark Levinson sound, sunroof, 4 way climate with two separate air conditioners (the rear air conditioner is also what cools the little refrigerator between the back seats), four heated seats, four ventilated seats, sunshade package, voice command, reclining rear seats with heat, ventilation, massage (really!), and a rear control panel to control temperature, massage, stereo, head rests, etc. There are also rear vanity mirrors, swivel reading lights, electric door closers, headlamp washers, parking assist sensors, radar controlled cruise control, SMART KEY, rear back up camera, air suspension including sport, normal, and ride height. The car was the ultimate in cutting edge technology in 2004 and is still amazing today. Again, please look at the link I provided above. There are no liens on the car and I have the title in hand. The was state safety inspected last month and is currently registered and insured. This car, while excellent, is being sold as-is with no warranty.
