Up for sale is a 1968 Volkswagen dune buggy. Just to start this DOES NOT RUN. It was my daily driver for two years. I ended up having some motor issues and took it to a mechanic to have it looked at. $3700 later it had a rebuilt motor! 50 miles later and again it no longer runs. The mechanic has skipped town and I have no receipts for proof of anything done to it, for all I know it got new spark plugs. Anyways for the motor it has an 1835 cc said to be machined out a little and has a longer trove crank. The block is the GEX block which I have been told is an awesome block, and it is stamped on the inside of the passenger valve cover if you want pics of the stamping. I just no longer have the time or know how for this project anymore, it used to run great and has a great shifting van transaxle with a fairly tight front end and good brakes. It's unit is STREET LEGAL! I have it licensed in the state of wyoming it has turn signals horns headlights everything. Very easy to register. It has a weber carb on it and it seems to have powered it just fine when it ran. Loved the thing I'm sure I have missed a few things about it please feel free to text me at 7o1--five80--7eight53.
