Vehicle Detail
1982 Indy Pace Car. Documents back to early 80s, including original dealer invoice and window sticker, press packet and receipts for service work. Everything original with the exception of Cam upgrade in 1988, Super Chip, Accel Coil and wires. Original Owner upgraded the cam, coil and the original computer chip is included with the car. Runs, shifts great, but needs new tires, brake flush and new calipers. Brakes are spongy and a caliper is sticking. I purchased the car from original owners friend, co-worker and second owner 4 or 5 years ago to restore and just have not gotten to it. Life happens and things change. This is a solid car that I have been storing as a future project. The car has been stored inside, but I lost five storage stalls in a divorce and have other cars with more sentimental attachment to keep and restore. It has been driven around the block several times a month, Cross Fire works and functions fine, The cold air induction works on full throttle as it should as does the cruise and all electrical components. A/c compressor engages, but needs to be charged. The drivers side window started acting up the other day while showing the car I am including with the sale two new window motors for the car. The Silver paint is flat, the body solid there is some surface rust on the Drivers QTR above the rocker trim otherwise a straight body, the interior is decent with the exception of the drivers seat. It can be a daily driver with new brakes and tires, or restore a decent car. The car has sold twice on ebay with one buyer claiming his 15 year old son bought it with out his permission the next buyer had a stroke, called to say he'd be sending a check and has either died or fallen off the face of the earth. Its a solid car put tires and brakes on it and enjoy it or restore it, but please don't waste my time and I will value yours.
