This one won't scratch the car, it qill keep it safe from light dust and grime, but is recommended for indoor storage only!The car does have a few more miles on it, as I have had a few folks here locally who took it for a spin,...but it will stay under 30 or so, I would imagine. Since those early test runs with perspective buyers, I have also changed the oil filter and oil with the correct Porsche recommendations, and topped off all fluids, of course. Also, the car has let me know that one brake light is out, and I will have them BOTH replaced before the car is sold with the correct (wattage) bulbs. (Otherwise, the warning sensor will stay on, a Porsche tip everyone should take with them!)BTW - YES! In the interest of full disclosure,...Since the tires are Nitrogen filled, the Porsche tire PSI sensors are not happy with that fact and will not read the tire presures, but as well all know, no worries, Nitrogen = GOOD! The new radiator guards and LED light "Spars" that replaced them are much, much better and were designed and made for the 2006-07 Cayman's by PCA's own Joseph DiSimone. You can find him on YouTube. Also, the engine has not been tampered with, it's only had a detail kit added for some show (Chromed hose covers and the like), the Porsche lettering has been painted silver and it has been highly detailed and has a switched light (Body color - burgandy-ish LED) to light the engine bay, and the toggle switch is hidden away in the glove box behind the drivers seat. It's lovely in the evening, and shows well, of course.It also seems folks want to know about paint work. Yes! When I purchased the car, it had some serious road rash on the front bumperette and some stone chips too, so I had the hood and the front bumperette painted by PCA Member -Kirk Maurer @ Maurer collision, here in Abq. Excellent job, of course.BTW - The engine detail work was done by PCA Member Russ Kelso at - Performance MotorCar Investments, Inc. He's the "Go To" guy out here for all your Porsche needs and he also did a great job. I have paperwork on all of the work, none if it collision repairs or any mechanical work. I would suggest that the cabin filter and brake pads be checked, per Russ' suggestion last fall, as those may be ready for a replacement at this point.
