SUPER BUY!! GREAT DEAL!! 1999 CADILAC NO RESERVE !!!!!!!! 4.6 NORTH STAR MOTOR I bought this car as a project but as usual I have too many projects. This car is going to take someone with a little mechanical ability. I got the car not running but after a little TLC I got it running. It was a little rough but seemed to smooth out some after driving. The fuse box as you can see in the pictures is off, and as you can see there is a wire that is running down to make the fan work (done by previous mechanic) which I don't think is coming on causing it to overheat. As I drove the car I watched the temp gauge go up to hot and then come down repeating itself. I took it to a friend who works on these, he said to do things right he would start by getting a new computer. (cost 125-150.00). I know that these are great for overheating (usually from head gaskets) but it is going to without a fan to cool it back down. I believe once the fan is working like it should that this will take care care of the heat problem. It is not losing no water from anywhere. That is why I believe the fan will fix the over heat issue. It was at this time I set it aside and worked on others. I believe it will take some time and patience but it will make a great ride after getting the bugs worked out. I am selling it as a non running car because at this time, sometimes it will run, and sometimes it won't. I will list the description below. Exterior: The trunk is the only area that needs paint due to clear coat peeling off. It has one dent on the roof by the rear door. There are other small dents in a few areas. It has the normal parking lot scratches nothing serious. It shows nice, and has a very good shine as well. All outside lights work, running lights, headlights , turn signals, brake lights, flashers. All four tires are 80% with the left front being new. I don't know the mileage on the brakes, but it stops as well as new with no pulling or no drag sounds. Interior: shows nice with standard wear more on driver seat all other seats look nice, no tears, rips, or holes. All door panels look very nice as you can see in the pictures. Headliner is nice with no marks, tears, or rips. New Items: One Tire, 90.50. Struts, 360.00. Cat converter with short pipe, 253.00. Oil change with filter, and air filter. 44.00. All items were done with 105,200 miles. Buyer must pick up car with trailer or I can deliver for 1.25 a mile one way to you.
