Vehicle Detail

This is a gorgeous 1968 Camaro. I had this car built by a Muscle Car shop that has tremendous experience with Camaro's, and I have seen this car throughout the build, and at the bare metal stage before paint, so I know this car is rust free. This is a car you could invest money into and not worry about the future, unlike so many others out there. Finished in December of 2011, I have owned this car since the beginning of 2012. I have put less than 100 miles on it in the year+ that I've had it, and it's new paint job has been garage kept the entire time and has been meticulously cared for. I am selling this car because i have two little kids now, and already own another 60's era muscle car that I also take care of. My time is thin and this car deserves to be driven! I am on email due to my job just about 24/7 so please send me any questions through Ebay for a quick response. I am located very near Lake Lewisville. - New Gunmetal Grey Metallic paint- New interior (headliner, dash, carpet, upholstry, wheel, center console w 4-gauge cluster and SS in-dash tach)- Power Disc brakes (all 4 wheels), dual master- Power Steering- 350 Engine w/rollers, Edelbrock intake, 4-barrel- New dual exhaust and mufflers- TH350 auto trans (was originally a 4-speed car so easily converted)- New wheels and Tires- New A/C (modern 134a, not refurbished old style, and uses factory vents)- New weather seals- Front/rear spoilers- Subframe connectors- Stainless Steel upper door trim (as on SS models)- SS/350 badging- no radio present, but radio slot left open for easy install- New gas tank and sending unit- New GM Trunk coating (original style GM "texture" finish)- New chrome bumpers, tail light bezels This car, in my opinion, is 90%. All of the major/hard stuff is done. Due to the necessary budget on a build like this I left a few things for myself to finish once I got the car. The things I can think of that need to be done are: - Like I said the car has no radio, so based on your taste this car is a blank canvas as far as audio goes.- The speedometer works, but is not accurate due to the transmission/wheel change. This is a simple matter of finding the right size insert where the speedometer cable connects to the transmission and is cheap and quick. Any mechanic can do it, I just haven't gotten around to it.- I never received a key to the glove box, and it is locked, so someone that is mechanically inclined i'm sure could get to it from under the dash and set it free, and put in a new key/lock mechanism for the glove box door.- The cigarette lighter/accessory plug is not hooked up. It was common for people to "steal" from this to accommodate more modern radios that require two power leads (one for key/on and another to hold presets/memory), which i would guess was the case with this car and very easy to remedy if you care about a working cigarette lighter. That's all i can think of, and for anyone who knows old cars you can see this is a very small amount of to-do's for a car like this, but I am an honest seller and I'm trying not to leave anything out. The title is clear, and in my possession. This car is registered as an antique, so registration only has to be renewed every five years, doesn't have to be inspected, and insurance is very cheap. I'll gladly pass along my agent's info as well. A note about the mileage: I put 100 because I've put less than 100 miles on it since it was built. The speedometer in the car shows 29,125, and I cannot be ceratin that it's even the original speedometer in the car. If the original was not working, it would have been replaced. Auction Terms:I reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. Due to the nature of Buy-it-Now, I cannot prevent the car from selling in person just before Buy-it-Now is used. If this were to occur, the Buy-it-Now transaction would be declined. I will verify availability and hold the car for any buyer using Buy-it-Now prior to asking for ay deposit on the sale. Thank you.
