Custom 2005 Crossfire that has a 5.7 Hemi Up for Auction is a one of a kind Custom 2005 Crossfire that has a 5.7 Hemi that has been been professionally installed. Don't miss this opportunity to own the ONLY Crossfire with a Hemi. Nothing was looked over when performing this conversion. The fit, feel and power of this car that looks to have and should have come from the factory with this option. Here is some of the History on the car and conversion. ** Note ** There is no kit to convert this over. The Charger strut towers, K-Frame and frame rails had to be modified and form fitted into the crossfire for this conversion. Both the 2005 Chrysler Crossfire and 2006 Dodge Charger was purchased at an auto auction for project. The Crossfire had engine damage, with only 3,400 miles on it and Charger had body damage with only 2,600 miles. We had to install the Charger strut towers, K-Frame and frame rails into the crossfire due to the motor size. The Charger suspension was used along with the radiator. The final fit and finish looks great. We chose to keep the stock crossfire wheels so we had to machine the front wheels to fit onto the Charger hubs. They were re-drilled for the Crossfire bolt pattern. The front and rear brakes are Crossfire as well. The overall width of the Charger suspension is approximately two inches (2”) wider than the Crossfire suspension. To accommodate this difference so the wheels would not exceed the fenders, I widened the front fenders to keep the car looking stock. The Exhaust consists of both Crossfire and Charger. The Transmission is Crossfire. I only had to change the Bell Housing. Hotwire Auto took the entire wiring harness and retrofitted and programmed it so the Crossfire and Charger could communicate with each other.
