1979 Chevy Camaro 400ci sbc, demon carb, edelbrock air intake, b&m ratchet shifter, autometer tach + shift light. Engine runs very strong and car drives well. I have only owned this for a short time and the previous owned wasn't certain of any engine work done. It sounds like it has some cam work done but I cant say what kind of heads & whatnot it has. The bad: beginnings of surface rust beneath doors & on firewall. Will eventually need a new power steering pump & new mufflers. Drivers side window doesn't track. Paint is mostly good but has a few chips here and there. Cowl has about a 1 1/2" scratch. The car also has no ac/heat/radio. There is about a 2" crack in the dash above the glove box. The engine seems fresh, transmission shifts smooth and the car runs very strong. I've driven it several hundred miles with no problems whatsoever. I checked the VIN and its not a 'true' z28. The interior is straight and clean besides the small tear in the drivers seat and the crack in the dash. It also has nearly brand new tires all around. The engine compartment is mostly clean. No leaks, no smoking, no smells of gas or oil. The car needs a few things to be perfect but its a great place to start at.
