This is a project I did 3 years back that I've had my fun with but it's time to sell. 1981 CJ 7 with LOTS of extra's. I did a frame off rebuild of this Jeep. After I had both the frame and body sandblasted I rubber coated the underbody of the tub and frame, then painted. The tub had the usual rust areas but not too bad. I did not have any holes in the floor pans or bed which is rare. You will have a hard time finding a more solid Jeep than this. It has a 4.3 liter chevy engine out of a small chevy pickup bolted to a jeep automatic trany with an Advanced Adaptor. Dual flowmasters coming straight back sitting on brand new 33 BFG's. Everything mechanically works perfectly, power steering, drive train, 4x4, etc. The brakes are a little soft and yes it drives like a CJ 7 on 33's. This is not a highway vehicle but awesome for around town or country roads (although I've never had it off pavement!) I only drive it on nice days to go to town and play but it could easily be an everyday driver. Completely new interior, including heated drivers seat, new console, new rollbar pad, new carpet, new gauges (clock doesn't work ???) new rear fold and flip seat, right down to matching spare tire. Virtually everything is NEW on this jeep including 10,000lb winch, gas tank and skid plate, transmission, brakes, markers, high intensity headlights, and new rear lights. This even has a chrome rear bumper with hitch receiver. There are many things I did to this that are over the top such as complete stainless steel bolt set (I hate rust), I used stainless everywhere I could vs chrome but there are some items chrome like grab bar, air intake and smaller items but the main windshield hinge is stainless, hinges for tail gate, etc. New rubber seals everywhere! windshield, doors, top windows and rear hatch. This was a project I worked on in my barn, took my time and did it right. Look at my responses, I don't sell a lot of stuff but what I do sell is quality and nice. Thanks for looking!
