THE STORY ON THIS 73 MARK IV: WAS REPAINTED ONCE GOTS ALL IT'S ORIGINAL BODY PARTS VINYL TOP IS ORIGINAL NO RUST BLISTERS UNDER IT ENGINE IS ALL ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING STILL GOT IT'S ORIGINAL FACTORY TAGS ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION KELSEY HAYES SKID CONTROL SYSTEM THE ENGINE DOESN'T KNOCK, SMOKE, LEAK OR GET OVERHEATED TRANSMISSION SHIFTS VERY GOOD IDLES VERY STRAIGHT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE VIDEO THE INTERIOR IS ALL FACTORY NO WARE ON THE CARPETS AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES THE DASH IS IN GREAT SHAPE THE SEATS GOT A LITTLE WARE THE ARMRESTS ON THE DOOR PANELS HAVE A FEW LITTLE CRACKS ON THEM BUT THE CARPET ON THE PANELS AND THE PANELS THEMSELVES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE THE REAR DRIVERSIDE WINDOW DOESN'T GO DOWN BUT THE OTHERS DO ALL THE GLASS IS IN GREAT SHAPE CIGARETTE LIGHTER AND ASHTRAYS WERE NEVER USED CLOCK WORKS SPEEDOMETER WORKS WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK THE HORN WORKS WHEN IT WANTS TO THE ANTENNA BROKE OFF AWHILE AGO BACK WHILE GOING THROUGH A CAR WASH AND IT'S MISSING THE VINYL TOP MOLDING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BUT THE REST OF THE CHROME MOLDINGS IS ALL THERE AND IN GOOD SHAPE THE RUBBERS AROUND THE BUMPERS (AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES) ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AS WELL BRAKES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE THE DOORS, TRUNK AND HOOD OPEN AND SHUT PERFECTLY JUST LIKE THE DAY THEY LEFT THE FACTORY AGAIN PLEASE TAKE THE TIME AND SEE ALL THE PICTURES AND VIDEO AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR IF I LEFT OUT ANY DETAILS You can call me at 832-373-9420 but if I don't answer please leave me a message. I've had quite a few people ask me about the hideaway headlight; if they go up and down ok, and about how does it run and the transmission and so on. so my answer is YES the car is really in good shape for its age and the fact that it has never been restored and had only 2 owners it's entire life. I am going to list the known issue as this is easier than listing all the good. I have tons of pics as well as a video that I will be happy to forward to you for your review. The car currently has Montana registration. My parents live in Montana and a car of this age gets permanent registration. Register it once and never has to be paid for again. It needs restored but is great like it is. This car does have the headlight covers that go up and down, and they do work. Power windows all but one in the rear works but this is a small window and its believed to be a switch problem. Leather seats are in good shape a spot on back of rear seat has some stitching that is coming apart. Power seats up front but they need help, cleaning I understand on the tracks and such Needs minor body repair on top of front left fender and a new front bumper. The A/C does not work as it needs a new Evaporator Core but the rest of the system is good. Compressor is new, hoses are new, etc. This car is 100% rust free with the exception of the front fender damage, surface rust, very minor. Fender is repairable no need to replace.
