2002 Land Rover Discovery II SD with 131,000 original miles. Bought from original owner at 122k miles. Have all receipts since new from original owner. Car was services regulary and meticulously at Matheny Land Rover/Jaguar in Jacksonville, FL. Runs and drives very solid and tight. Lots of miles left in this well built tank. Interior The interior is near flawless. Replaced the headliner upon purchase. Replaced the shift boots. Also repaired the driver lumbar bolster. Rear seats look like they have never been sat in. Carpets and heavy duty rubber floor mats are in great condition. No cracks in dashboard. Leather wrapped steering wheel in very good condition. You will love sitting high in this Land Rover in the lap of luxury. All interior controls work including all four power windows, power seats, etc., etc. Stereo has very good sound, climate control A/C is Ice cold! Exterior Paint and bodywork are original and still shows nice shine. A few door dings here and there, but very presentable. A couple of black trim, wheel well plastic pieces need to be fine sanded and then painted with black trim paint to really look nice. No curb rash on four aluminum alloy wheels. The rear, ladder has some rust. Ladder could be removed and/or sanded and repainted. Mechanical Vehicle starts right up, even after sitting for weeks. All electrical components work as designed. Engine idles smoothly and works through rpm band well. Steers straight down the road. Nice Michelin tires with plenty of tread/life left. A/C is ice cold. No problems with overheating. Recent work includes new transmission at 120k miles. Also, new spark plugs, wires, plenum gasket, master cylinder, calipers, and brakework at 122k miles. Also, new guibo/flex coupling at 131k miles. No smoke from engine, perfect idle, no rough shifting - should be plenty of life left in this truck. Would make a great 2nd vehicle, around town car, student 1st car, etc. 4 wheel drive systems working great. Issues Rear door lock actuator locks with key FOB and power door locks, but does not unlock with power locks. Occasionally, and for no rhyme or reason, the "three Amigo" light will appear. If you are familar with the Land Rover Discovery, these are the lights for ABS, Traction Control, and Hill Descent systems. There are a number of sensors and codes that will trip these lights. This vehicle drives perfectly fine with all systems working, but the lights do come and go. We had them looked at, but were directed to the Dealer, and the next day, they were out. So, we just learned to live with the the "three Amigos" when they appeared. Please bid if you are serious, no tire-kickers, your bid is a contract.
