Vehicle Detail

Here it is. The Beast. Starts up every time, no matter the weather. 460 V-8 is powerful and accelerates well. Transmission shifts smoothly. No drips. No smoke. Battery never loses charge. Newer exhaust and sounds awesome. Never dies or threatens to die. Very reliable. Loves to conquer hills vs. kids in souped up Civics. Used many times to tow boats, help people move, go to Home Depot, throw the bikes in the back and take the kids biking, take fishing, great for bashing through the snow. Light kit on the rolbars lights up a soccer field. No electronics. Good to have one vehicle with no electronics. Truck is very safe. I take my kids in it to school and everywhere. This truck is not cosmetically perfect. The windshield has a crack from top to bottom and a bb hole. Never replaced it because it was not a problem. Gas gauge is unreliable. Ran out of gas once when I thought still was a quarter tank left. So now keep a 5-Gal can in the box. Paint is faded on top from the sun. Tires have some dry rot but have never leaked a pound. The Super Swampers have plenty of tread left but leave The Beast sitting for a week and it takes about 2 miles of driving for this baby to smooth out. There's no AC as this truck is from Washington State. Little rust spots, light surface rust in the bed, but like a California or Texas truck for it's age rust-wise. No rips on the seat. I'm from Montana originally so am used to having and driving trucks like this. You don't have to baby this thing and that's half the fun to just throw stuff in the back and go to the dump, then to Home Depot, then to Starbuck's. Every year or so I buy and sell a new 4x4 toy. Had lots of old Rovers, Defenders, two Hummer H-1's, most-recently a Pinzgauer before this. For a cheap, reliable, fun, 4x4 truck, and versatile toy this one has been the most fun for the money and has cost nothing to maintain. Connecticut doesn't title vehicles older than 25 years so I just transfer the CT registration to you, give you a bill of sale, and the original title from Washington state, the truck, and two sets of keys. So good luck bidding. When you win, you get me a Cashier's check for the amount in 72 hours. You either come here to Norwalk, CT, and drive away or arrange transport. On May-04-13 at 07:50:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Here it is. The Beast. Also, answering some questions received so far.... It has coil springs and heavy duty shocks not leaf springs. It says F100 on the drivers side and F250 on the passenger side.Engine Block says D6VE-9425-A3A and has a 4 barrel Edelbrock Carb... So, indeed it has a 460 V8. It sounds and runs awesome. Happy to send pictures of anything you want to look at. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Streamnets.com
