Up for your consideration today, is this very nice 1956 ford convertible. This car underwent a body off restoration about 10-15 years ago, and has never been driven in the rain since that time, or exposed to corrosive West Virginia Salt. It has also never been washed in that time, just wiped down with a damp bug rag. All of the parts involved in the restoration were either new or rebuilt. The car has an eye catching paint job, which is tropical rose and black, with a matching interior. It is also equipped with the continental kit. The drive train includes a 292 thunderbird engine, with an automatic transmission. The car has power steering, and will come with the parts to convert it to power brakes, if so desired. It has many new parts, including a front cross member etc etc. The original radio is not installed in the car, but it will come with it. There are also many spare parts if you would like to have them, including another engine, transmission, several trim pieces and so on. One of the only things that I can think of that is wrong with the car, would be that the power top motor does not work and is not installed on the car, but will be included with your purchase. The top can still be raised and lowered manually. It may seem like I have not said much about this great car, but there is a reason behind that. I am listing the car for a friend, who is not very up to date on using computers. Inspections will be welcome with advanced notice, and the buyer will be responsible for any and all shipping involved with the vehicle. If for any reason the high bidder is not happy with this car, it can be left. In my haste to get photos before my camera battery died, I did not get a clear shot of the mileage, but it has not went up very much at all since the car was titled in 1990 with 54,000. I am going to guess it is at 60,000 or in that area. I will update the listing when I have that information.
