Vehicle Detail
*PLEASE READ entire listing, as most of the questions I get about the car are already answered here. Thanks 1985 Porsche 944 2.5 liter 5 speed 91,000 miles. Starts and runs good, good oil pressure, good fuel pressure, cooling system runs cool, Transmission shifts fine, car is 95% restored. STILL NEEDS WORK! Needs Battery, Needs some brake work (see below), needs suspension work (see below) and a few other minor things need work before being road worthy. These are safety concerns and should be regarded as such. Buyer assumes ALL responsibility of vehicle once vehicle leaves my property. *Brake Issue: Brakes stick upon release of pedal (have not diagnosed) *Shock issue: Front shocks are bad (shock seals are bad, shock inserts need replaced via threaded collar on strut assembly) *Vehicle is sold AS IS, with no warranty implied or expressed *This is a 25+ year old classic Porsche; it is NOT a brand new vehicle *Clean/Clear title on hand (title is in my name, can get notorized at local bank at time of pickup during regular business hours) *Will NOT ship vehicle I will not accomodate anything or anyone further than meeting you outside of my house to show the car and/or be here at time of pickup. I will not pick you up at the airport. I will not rent you a trailer or deliver the vehicle. And although once the money/title transaction has been made, I can not tell you what you can or can not do with your own car, I do not recommend driving this car home. There are too many systems on any used vehicle to take the risk. *IF YOU COME TO PICK UP VEHICLE PLANNING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE HOME, VERIFICATION OF TEMP TAG AND INSURANCE WILL BE REQUIRED. This is due to liability and is not debatable. *I have only road tested this vehicle for maybe 30 miles around the back roads of my house. It is recommended that you take the time to test this vehicle on your own, around your house or repair facility before assuming that everything is going to be dependable. This is a 28 year old vehicle. It is not a new car off the lot, it has not had a state safety inspection.
