Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1972 Chevy Nova. This car is in great shape and I found it in original condition with only 61K original miles!! It has its original sheet metal (with exception of the 2" steel cowl induction hood which was added a few years back). Including the original floor & trunk pans which are rust free. The factory color on the Nova is Gold and approximately 15 years ago was painted Citrus Green and is in great shape! This car would make the perfect candidate for a Yenko Deuce Clone or C.O.P.O. Clone. It has the original interior including rubber mat, dash pad, and the rare radio delete plate. The front seat was re-covered in the late 1990's. The headliner, door panels and rear package tray are all original. This car came from the factory with a 6 cylinder engine with a power glide transmission. I have since replaced these items with a new 383 stroked small block and a turbo 350 transmission. Both with less than 1,000 miles. The car has an 8.5 10 bolt rear end with a 3.42 posi traction that is sturdy and quiet. The engine has an eagle forged rotating assembly, ported and polished heads with 2.02 valves, Howards solid lift camshaft (which sounds awesome), Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, Heddman ceramic coated headers, MSD distributor and ignition, Holley 750 mechanical carb, sheet metal valve covers and aluminum radiator. Painted to match factory steel wheels with dog dish caps. The factory drum brakes were replaced with a new power disc brake unit with 2" drop spindles with Moroso springs. The car runs, drives and stops better than new! All headlights, brake lights & turn signals work. The horn does not work. The heater works great but the heater core is starting to drip ($25 fix). The car is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end the auction early. If you have any questions, please feel free to call my cell at 828.702.3473. MikeOn Apr-23-13 at 19:39:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for all the inquiries and bids. I just added a few pictures of the frame and undercarriage. Sorry I don't have a lift available for better pics but there are no disappointments with the undercarriage. It is straight, rust free and undamaged. But it does have a little of road grime since I drive the car quite a bit. I've had a few questions about the dependability of the car. Just took the car on a 400 mile trip and it performed flawless. So anyone wanting to fly in to Asheville Regional Airport for pick up, I would feel very confident about the dependability and reliability of the car. Thanks again for all your interest.
