1973 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ 455 98k miles runs and drives great, fast handles great stops great. No Rust. Dual exhaust original gold paint with excellent matching Gold interior. AC compressor needs replacement A four-barrel 455 CID V8 was optional and included with the "SJ" option that also added a rally gauge cluster and a radial tuned suspension with front and rear sway bars, Pliacell shock absorbers and radial-ply tires. 455 cu in (7.5 L) V8 The only other engine choice was the four-barrel 455-cube V-8 standard on the SJ. This larger engine was rated at 250 horsepower at 4,000 rpm, with 370 pound-feet of torque at 2,800 spins. It also had an 8.0:1 compression ratio. The only transmission for either engine was a Turbo 400 automatic. Production 20,749 were Model 455 SJ.On Apr-25-13 at 12:38:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I would rate this car (1 being excellent to 10 being a wreck) A strong 2 1/2 I do not have the driver side body impact molding. the paint will need touch and some adhesive removal along the strip area. There are a few tiny nicks and small scratches but nothing to get excited about. All gauges work, the clock works intermittently. All other electronics work very well. No engine leaks other then slight seeping around pan. Like all GMC cars the transmission (Turbo 400) will seep from long periods of storing. Like all GMC cars the more it drives the less it seeps. Like all big door GMC cars the passenger door has sagged and needs adjustment for proper operation. All handles door locks knobs and switches interior panels are clean and tight. original jack and newer spare tire. The driver door interior panel has faded some but nothing is cracked. wheels are good but need restoration to be perfect. vinyl top and top molding is really good but not perfect. The dome light cover is missing. the plastic horizontal modeling between body and bumpers needs crack repair or replacement. No visible rust on The undercarriage inner outer rocker, front and rear panels and wheel wells.. will need AC compressor repair and system charge. This car is clean drives great, I would enter it in a show as is. The Mileage is correct and shows very good garage kept care. Proper NM title and bill of sale. New battery.
