Vehicle Detail
As hard as this is, up for sale is a 1979 F250 Supercab. Supercabs are getting harder and harder to find, especially in this condition. There is no rot at all, even has the tool box. This has been converted to a 4x4. Has a stout 460 Big Block with Headers, C6 Automatic Trans and highly soughted NP205 Divorsed Transfer Case. This is set up like a Supercab version of the Highboy converted to the Power Assist Steering as well. I bought the truck back in April and have been slowing building and replacing necessary parts. My intensions were to make it my daily driver, but due to some unexpected bills, I've got to part ways with this unique beast. I have a clean title on hand. The motor starts right up and runs strong/well once warmed up. This truck has a Dana 60 rear, set up heavy duty with awesome leaf assisters. Don't know if it's a Dana 44 or Dana 60 front. Neither axles are leaking and are good. Custom Jesse James 18" Rims with 33" Tires (will need to be replaced eventually). Don't miss out on this unique heavy duty towing beast. This thing when done will tow a your house and the neighbors house! Here is a list of work that I've done: -New Alternator -New Battery -Freshly Rebuilt 4brl Holley Carb with Spacer -New Power Steering and Fuel Lines and Filters -New Hydraulic Steering Cylinder (bought the last one from Rock auto $400 savings to you) -New Power Vacume Brake Booster and Master Cylinder -New Distributor, Cap, Plugs and Rotor -Semi fresh heavy duty Radiator with new Cap Here is the work that needs to be done to get the mechanics finished: -Replace Gas Filler Hose (has a leak when filling gas) -Rebuild Steering Control Valve -Bleed Brakes -Bleed Steering System after Control Valve The not so greats: Passanger door will need to eventually be replaced. I pulled out the large dent in the middle of the door already (old picture shown), but it does still have that crease on the front edge. The AC compenents have been removed prior to me buying the truck. I have almost all the components needed to put it one back together. The previous owner had the truck painted, it isn't that great. When I bought the truck it was missing the smog equipment, I've picked up some pieces along the way, but they are not installed. Truck is currently under non-op. I've adjusted the price accordingly to make up for differnce. If you'd like more photos, plese let me know specific areas. I hope it this finds a great home that will finish what I started. Vehicle is sold as is with no warantee. Please email me if you have further questions and I'll give you my phone number.
