NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1972 GMC JIMMY 4x4 factory tach, factory A/C (not working) with removable top. Nice truck all body work and paint done with in the last few years it started out with no rust but one quarter panel has been replaced in past years it has been block sanded and block sanded many times and then repainted with its O.E. color. The front clip was taken completely apart core support fender ,wells,,bottom side of the hood all painted with a gloss black ENGINE: from what I was told it has around 30k on a orielly crate motor 350 seems to run good. The distrubuter,cap,rotor,wires was replaced last year It has a eldebrock carb.. Exhaust has new flowmaster mufflers and their dumped before the rear end It has headers they seem to have a small leak some where. Transmission: 350 turbo shifts good seems strong not sure if its the O.E trans or not. I got under it to take some pics and noticed the pan had fluid on it so it might need pan gasket or seal. soon fluid was almost a quart low after sitting all winter. Transfer case NP 205 Gear driven seems to work fine Ive never really taken it off road Front drive line was just made for it and installed so its brand new.rear u joint have a little slop but not bad 3;73 gears in the rear ends Lock out hubs TIRES: Parnelli Jones (dirt grips) 33x12.50-15 lots of tread left expensive tires Nice wheels but starting to show some age. BODY/PAINT: The jimmy had no rust just ugly paint and a few dings it was sanded down,primed and block sanded many times he has this thing really straight the most it could use is a good polish job their is a few nicks,chips nothing major. left front fender, mirrors,emblems,tailgate trim,all glass rubber& rear bumper all have been replaced with new parts. Their has been a couple small patchs installed on floors near kick panels (see pics) nothing major if you get underneath their is no rust and all I cant even see any rust where the patch spots are. Their is some rust at the very back where the tailgate and body meet on the inside (see pics)I have cleaned the rust up their and put por 15 on it and then brushed some blue paint on it for now ive been told its a easy fix but I just didn't think it was bad enough to worry about right now. I feel comfortable calling this jimmy RUST FREE other than the rust in the very back nothing major at all. (see pics) It does need a left front blinker lens It still works but lens is broke. TOP: The top is a lot better than most that ive seen the hatch is solid latchs work It has been repainted on the outside but the inside needs cleaned up and repainted to be nice the only problem I have on the top is the edge lip where it bolts to the truck you can tell that the edge is a little rough. all rubber has been replaced on the top glass and door seals I didn't get crazy with the top cause I love driven it with out it. INTERIOR: I could not make my mind up on a color so the seats never got recovered the dash,door panels,glove box,dash bezel, are all new. I couldn't cut the dash up so I installed a delete plate and put a cd player in the glove box with USB The doors had holes for 6x9 spearkers so we left them. Otherwise he got the doors on the inside really straight also. The tach works,fuel gage works,speedo works its not right cause of tires, dome lights,dash lights all work. wipers work,heater works,all lights seem to work except reverse lights Im not sure if they do or not. Carpet and seat covers and a little clean up or paint and interior is good. This GMC Jimmy / Blazer is very cool and gets a lot of attention complaments all the time people love its a .flashy color and I love it but I have another project I really want to get started on so I am going to sell this to fund that project. I have driven it to the city about a half dozen times about 130 miles round trip besides all the cruising we did.The A/C does not work the compressor and condenser are not their but like I said this thing is a blast with out the top it never been on since ive owned it until now just for selling purpose Ive tried to explain everything that I can to reduce the questions but feel free to call anytime if I don't answer leave a message I will call back when I wake or get off work.
