That is right, 9,949 miles. I am the second owner of this bike having purchased it last year from the original owner. My mechanic told me about it as he has been servicing the bike for over 30 + years. Last summer the 70+ year old owner shared she was going to sell it and I was fortunate enough to purchase the bike. I bought it with about 8,900 miles on it and would keep it except for some health issues. It is in excellent condition and was stored up until this past winter in a dry barn. I do not have a garage but did keep a bike cover on it all winter. The tires are good and other overall condition is excellent for bike of this age. The bike has very little rust, a handful of nicks, but is as close to original as you will find. I added BMW heated hand grips and a new battery last fall. Today, the bike runs fine and is ready for riding. I have the original invoice as well as most of the service records. The bike is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the auction for a local sale. Will meet an auction buyer at our local airport if he or she wishes to fly into the Wenatchee, WA airport and ride the bike home. You can also fly into Seattle and take the train here if that works out better.
