I bought the bike over a year ago and restored to the original specs as much as possible. The miles are unknown when I got it but the seller said that it was on the high 20K miles.(no speedo),and seeing for how is the condition of the bike,seems to be true. So we added a used speedometer with 9k miles that is the mileage on the new used engine installed ,described below. Most of the avid sport bikers known that the GSXR 1100 and 750 started a revolution on the sportbike market at the time,aluminiun frame,full fairing and full race replica for the street. So this project started mixing the best of the 2 models. The GSXR 750 was a great bike ,light ,sharp,but the frame was not as strong for the engine ,around 85 rwhp. The GSXR 1100 based on the 750, has a strong frame,suspension and brakes to keep up with the more powerful engine ,rated at 110 rwhp. So this project started with the best of both ,the frame ,suspension,brakes,wider 18 in wheels ,etc from the GSXR 1100 1986 and the latest and most powerful air/oil cooled 750cc GSXR from the 1991 model.(R716).Long stroke engine 70x48.7 mm bore x stroke . After the 750 engine was been installed,we added a full Yoshimura carbon exhaust ,fresh carb clean and sync with stage 3 jet kit and individual filters ,we got the same rwhp of 110 with less torque but dropping over 20 pounds over the bigger engine making the bike more narrow with a stronger frame and fitting a GSXR 750 fairings,brand new Zero Gravity tinted windshield, single seat (seat cover) to give her a race look and it was professionally painted. The other thing we changed because we got the bike with upside down forks, 17 in wider wheels,carbon fiber fender and 6 piston brake calipers (from a GSXR 1100 1993) was install the original forks,brake calipers and 18 in wheels. THE EXTRA PARTS LIKE the 17 in wide wheels ,6 piston Tokico brake calipers with rotors and upside down forks with triple clamps and axles ,carbon fender, will be included for an extra fee .(already installed with Pirelli Supercorsa tires 120/70-17 and 190/55-17).Check pictures. The original fuel tank was rusty inside so we installed a used one, rust free from a GSXR 1100 1988 . All the bike has the originals stickers and clear coat on top beside the fuel tank and belly pan(no R stickers) .Please check pictures. The bike has had fluids change ,7100 Motul 10W40 oil,Motorex DOT4.The only thing that the bike needs are fresh tires. Please check all the pictures ,the last picture shows the bike as I had bought it (before any changes were made) and the second to last picture is a work in progress picture with the wider wheels and latest front end so you can have an idea of the look from the latest components.The 21st picture is not the actual bike for sell but show one without the seat cover so you can see how it look with the 2 seats showing. The bike has a Clean Florida title and is ready to ride after installing fresh tires. Took over a year to finish this project but we are happy with the results after riding it for couple hundred miles. So buy this piece of history ,and show it off on the bike meetings of your closest town and be envied more than the current sportbikes today.
